Today’s Scripture: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation¬†4:11

…Tis’ the season, He’s the reason,
Let His glory Shine,
Bells are ringing, Choirs singing,
Join, joining in the
Blessed Christmas time…

Catchy tunes fill the air, the auditorium is transformed into an ancient village-it’s that time of year when our pageant rolls around. From live camels to flying angels, it takes a lot of teamwork to set the stage for Bethlehem’s Tower. You may not think about all the details which need to work together while watching it, hopefully instead, those watching are focused on the message. To say the least, it takes many hours of prep and plenty of willing hands to bring that picture of the gospel to life each Christmas season.

Why do I say this, and what does that small song excerpt have to do with it? Both are great reminders that throughout the year it takes our teamwork as believers to win the lost to Christ. Sometimes in life you will be one of the people “backstage” who is never seen or mentioned, but your hard work will prepare someone to receive the gospel. At times you may be “center stage” where there is a lot of pressure, but what you do for the Lord will be worth whatever opposition you may receive.

In every season, Christ is always the reason for us to live each moment giving of every talent we have to glorify and honor Him. We should be looking to win the lost whether it is by using the jovial warmth of the Christmas season or by simply giving from the warmth of your heart. Find a way today to let His glory shine.
