A member of our church for over 30 years, Jim Rende, serves as a VIG phone operator. I would like to share with you his incredible testimony: “Before I accepted Christ, I was a Catholic who had been taught the terrible reality of Hell. I had such a fear of it as a teenager, I would awake in the middle of the night scared to death I had not made a good enough confession that day.
“At age 28, I heard the good news of grace and placed my trust in Christ rather than in my works. I couldn’t believe it was so simple to go to Heaven!
“Not long after I was saved, I began searching for a church which gave the clear gospel. I visited church after church, but none gave a clear invitation.
“Finally, a friend told me about Quentin Road. Praise God, I decided to visit the morning service. It was there I heard a church service close with the presentation of the clear gospel.
“Over 30 years later, I hear that crystal-clear gospel message three times a week. It is through this ministry I have learned how to present the clear gospel.
“By giving the gospel to others, we are doing the most important work in the world. But our time is short. The Lord is coming soon and we are running out of time to share the good news.”
Soul winners like Jim Rende really are amazing. I’m so thankful for him and his love for the gospel. We must all remember time is short because the return of the Lord is imminent. Souls need to be saved.
Despite the difficult economy, Victory In Grace is still striving to present the clear gospel to those souls through radio and television programming. It truly is our blessing and privilege to give the clear gospel. Thank you for your continued support and love for souls.
Grateful for God’s grace,
Dr. James A. Scudder
