If ever a creature were an evangelist, it would be the honeybee. The female worker bees which forage the area around the hive for nectar serve as scouts for the bee colony. When they find a flower bed with a rich nectar supply, they inform the others at the hive through special body language which describes the location of the resources.
A good worker bee doesn’t keep the resources outside her hive a secret. She tells others, and the entire colony profits from the discovery. Christians should be like worker bees that have found nectar. The nectar of truth, salvation by grace, spiritual blessings, and a relationship with Christ is worth sharing with others. The entire Christian community benefits when we do this.
Have you been faithful to tell others about the treasure you have found in Christ?
The more people learn about what God is doing in your life, the more everyone will profit. Don’t keep the nectar to yourself. Go back to the hive and tell the others about the goodness of God. You can communicate verbally, or you can let your life do the talking. All Christians are evangelists in their own right. How well are you sharing the good news?
