Is there anyone too bad for God’s love? Some people think they fall into that category. Perhaps you’ve had a life that you feel is too stained with sin for God to forgive.
Well, if you think that, you’re wrong. And I’m glad to give you this news. You see, God looks at sin differently than man does. Man ranks sinners based on the severity of the crime. Liars are okay, cheaters a little worse, murderers and rapists, positively evil. And don’t even get into the Hitlers, Stalins, or bin Ladens.
But Scripture tells us that God sees all sin as the same. From the tiniest white lie to the most horrific ethnic cleansing, each is a violation of His righteousness. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of God’s holy standard of perfection. That’s the bad news.
But the good news is that God’s love is mightier than the power of sin. That love sent His only Son, Jesus, to this earth to assume the penalty for all the sins of mankind. All we have to do is believe that He is our Savior and that His shed blood is enough to wash away our sins. If we do that, Jesus gives us His righteousness and God gives us eternal life.
You may say, “Well, I’m too bad for that.” But you’re not. There is no one who falls outside the mercy of God. What’s more, the heart of God begs for you to come to Him and accept His offer of forgiveness and eternal life.
So what will you do?

There is no one who has walked this earth that is too sinful for God’s love. All sin is a violation of His holiness, therefore no sin is beyond the point of His redemptive grace. — Unknown Author
