It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord is working through believers all across the world to get the gospel to the lost. Thousands of miles away in the Philippines, our brothers and sisters in Christ labor for the same cause we strive for here at Quentin Road.
I have just returned from a trip to the Philippines. A large group of pastors invited me to speak at their conference. We stayed at a camp up in the mountains, a beautiful spot on God’s Earth.
It was such an exciting opportunity because I was able to share with them everything God had laid on my heart. It was an honor to be the main speaker at the conference, and I praise God that we had such a great turnout.
We had three question-and-answer discussions in which we were able to explain all that is happening at Quentin Road. After preaching on every topic you can think of, I believe that by God’s grace we were able to make a major impact on the Baptist churches of the Philippines. God really blessed.
We were also able to bring several thousand tracks and discipleship books for these ministries. Their pastors deeply care about the truth and were desperate to get good, godly material to share with their people. You cannot even imagine the blessing these materials were to them.
Please pray for continued support and strength for our friends in the Philippines. Our bond in Christ reaches beyond borders and so should our prayers. Together, we can reach the world with the gospel — one soul at a time.
Grateful for God’s grace,
Dr. James A. Scudder
