Today’s Scripture: And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Colossians 2:10

One of the most common questions people have is, “How do I know or find God’s will for my life?” So many people are searching for God’s will, and they approach it like they are looking for some elusive needle in a haystack.

The key to finding God’s will is actually pretty simple. At Quentin Road Baptist Church, we’ve always taught people to get involved with what you know God wants you to do right now, and along the way, He is going to reveal His plan for your life.

Our passage today reminds us that we are complete in Christ. The word “complete” in this verse carries the idea of a ship that is fully loaded and ready to go, and as believers in Christ, that describes us perfectly. At the moment of salvation, God gave us everything we need to complete the journey of life. As we’re saved by faith, so we must walk by faith in Him.

You cannot save yourself, neither can you live the Christian life on your own. The key in the Christian life is believing that you are complete in Him. So, don’t try to perform so that God will love you more. He loves Christ, so He loves you because you are in Christ. Don’t have a list of rules without having a relationship with Christ – it will lead to frustration, not spirituality. If you walk in the Spirit, you will fulfill the things He wants you to do.

So how do you find and accomplish God’s will? Walk in the Spirit, because you are complete in Him.
