Today's Scripture: Acts 21:15
Today's Quote: Those traveling on the highway of humility won't be bothered by heavy traffic.
When we go on a missions trip to India or Thailand, we all carry our own luggage. We also try to carry other people's luggage if they need us to.
There are some Christians in life who do more than their share, but there are other people who take as little of the burden as they can. I call them dodger Christians because they can dodge work faster than anyone you have ever seen. If they see work, they automatically dodge behind a post so no one will call their name out. There are other Christians who are always volunteering in church, who want to be kept busy working for God. They are a delight. They want to do their share in helping to carry the load. Did you ever bear someone else's burden?
Did you ever pick up someone else's suitcase because they were having trouble? Did you ever go to the door and open it for some poor mother trying to carry in two children plus diaper bags and all the paraphernalia that comes with babies? Or are you so wrapped up in your own burdens that you don't even notice that other people have them? Take a minute today and bear someone else's burden for a while. It will do you good.
