Mercedes was channel-surfing when she found Victory In Grace’s broadcast on the air. It provided exactly the kind of Christian programming for which she had been looking. Mercedes has since watched Victory In Grace’s broadcasts on her television or over the internet for about two years.

When asked what keeps her watching, Mercedes replied, “Every time I feel discouraged, I feel like Someone has set me free [after watching Dr. Scudder on Victory In Grace]!” Mercedes was drawn to Dr. Scudder’s down-to-earth, uncomplicated style of preaching. She is ever grateful for the simple, yet timeless truths which he shares from the Word of God.

The Victory In Grace Magazine has also been helpful to Mercedes as she goes through each day. She is fond of the personal stories Dr. Scudder often shares in his various articles. Her incarcerated son also receives the Magazine, and can often personally relate to the insights found within its pages. Both plan to visit Victory In Grace in the future.

Mercedes called 1-800-78-GRACE and found encouragement. She still recalls by name two of the operators who served as her prayer partners. This meant more to her than words can say.
